‘Celebrating the differences of each academy through strong collaboration in order to inspire all members of our learning community to be the best that they can be’
The Accord Multi Academy Trust was established in September 2016 and is currently made up of four academies. Horbury Academy and Ossett Academy & Accord Sixth Form College were the founding members of the Trust, moving away from their stand-alone Trust status, and were joined in December 2016 by Horbury Primary Academy and Middlestown Primary Academy to create Accord Multi Academy Trust. Our Trust benefits from the community links we share; all academy sites are within a 3 mile radius of one another.
Our aim is to be educational centres of excellence, offering a world class standard of education to all our young people, regardless of their background or ability. We value offering a wide variety of experiences to our pupils, which is vital to building their personal aspirations for the future. We our fully inclusive and have high expectations for all pupils and staff.
Our Trust academies work in one Accord with a single, shared vision. Our vision and key principles are underpinned by the highest expectations on what every child can achieve, regardless of their starting point. Working together as a team has clearly made us stronger, and the support and challenge of each other has enriched our academies and the Trust.
To achieve our vision, we understand the importance of investing in our people and are fully committed to this. Their continuous personal development is a key to achieving our aims and objectives.
